HEINS, Iverson (Blondie) - In loving memory of Iverson “Blondie“ Heins 77 years. Peacefully Monday, March 14th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary (Rigler) Heins. Loving father of Brian (friend Wendy), Debbie, Wendy (husband Derek Blades), Kevin (wife Laurie) and Greg (wife Carol Lee). Cherished Grampa of Crystal (Jeff), Alicia, Jenna (Luca), Jillian (Brad), Branden (Kelly), Keenan (Jamie), Kurtis (Melissa), Nicholas (Jessica), Tristan and great grandchild Aubrey. Dear brother of Ellard (wife Shirley) both predeceased, Delroy (wife Gail), Dalton (Gwen), and Elwood (wife Alanna). Sadly missed by by many nieces and nephews. In his early years Blondie (Dad) was involved in coaching and managing broomball and baseball in the community. He was a true Toronto Maple Leafs fan. After working 40 years with INCO he retired in 1990 and enjoyed going to Sudbury Wolves games and local softball games and especially going to visit with the boys at Lively Auto Parts. He was most happy when surrounded by his family and friends. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. Cremation with interment in the Waters Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund or Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
