HEISKANEN, Selma Elina (nee Reijonen) - In loving memory of Elina-tati who died peacefully in Extendicare York on February 11, 2011, predeceased by her husband Antti. Cherished by her nephew Eero (Ulla), nieces Vieno, Marja (David) and Helena. Treasured by her great nephews Eric (Melody), Alan (Shannon), Erik (Edith), Marko (Heidi) and Riku and great nieces Kristina, Stefanie, Heli (Clovis) and Susanna. Remembered dearly by great great nephews Zack and Josh. Missed by many friends and family in Finland. Born on January 5, 1919 in Joroinen, Finland, Elina came to Canada and married Antti, her husband of many years. A devoted member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elina rejoiced in church service, hymn singing and bible study. One of Finlandia Koti's first residents, Elina honoured the work of charity and shared the spirit of giving alongside all her friends at Finlandia Koti. Deepest appreciation to the staff of Finlandia Koti, Sudbury Regional Hospital, Extendicare York and Lougheed's Funeral Home. Funeral Service at the R.J.
