HENSCHEL, Margarete (nee Beier) - In loving memory of Margarete (nee Beier) Henschel, 76 years, who passed away on Saturday, August 29th at 2009 at the SRH - Laurentian Site. Born in Germany, Margarete came to Canada in 1956 and she married Fred Henschel in 1959. She and her husband were longtime Wahnapitae residents where they worked hard on their hobby farm. She had a wonderful green thumb that produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. She enjoyed reading. Margarete was devoted to her loving family and she was happiest when in their company. A good natured person who will be remembered as a good spirit whose light and love guided and inspired her family, neighbours and friends. Beloved wife of Fred Henschel, predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Sylvia (Tony Dumas), Carmen (George Begley), Stewart, Loretta (Luc Serré), Darlene and Harley (Tamara Clement). Cherished grandmother of Curtis, Jason, Kayla, Kristal, Morgan, Amber, Cory, Alicia, Serina and Gabriel. Dear daughter of Edward and Marie Beier predeceased. Dear sister of Hilde Bauer (Dietmar), Helma Gangl, and Herbert Beier (Lise Lotte). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at 2 pm. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
