Hewton, William “Terry” (1940-2023)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William “Terry” Hewton, of Spring Bay Ontario, on December 31, 2023 at the age of 83. Terry passed peacefully with his daughter Tammy by his side after a brief illness.
Terry was predeceased by his beloved wife Doris Hewton and son Joey. Terry leaves behind his children Tammy, Guy (Bobbie), Randy (Nena), Curtis (Catherine), and Michelle (Chris). Terry’s greatest joy was his grandchildren Ellie, Katheryne-Eva, Tristian-Brian, Ross, Johnna, Devon, and Braedin.
Terry enjoyed his time fishing, reading, watching the Jay’s game, and taking care of the maintenance at his cottage at the Spring Bay Club.
Terry will be dearly missed by all who have had the opportunity to know him. However we can all be at ease, he will be well taken care of by the love of his life Doris Hewton, re-untied at last.
The family would like to thank all the nursing staff and Doctors of the Manitoulin Health Centre Mindemoya Hospital who took exceptional care during Terry’s last moments.

At Terry’s request, there will not be a service. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date in the summer at his favorite place on earth the Spring Bay Club.
