HICKS, Melonie Anne - In Loving Memory of Melonie Anne Hicks, 47 years, who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on Monday August 16th, 2010. Beloved mother of Tanya Rothermund (Wayne Kyte). Sadly missed by brothers Jack (wife Roxanne) of Courtney B.C, Charles (wife Helen) of Orillia, Dale (wife Diane) of Freelton, ON, and sister Suzanne Goold (husband Murray) of Mount Forest, ON. Special friend of Rodger Arbic of Alban and Brian Kelly of North Bay. Daughter of Harold and Dorothy (nee Bryan) Hicks both predeceased. Melonie enjoyed camping in Bissett Creek, crocheting and spending time at the Friendship Center. She had a great passion for bird watching, Celtic and Native music. Melonie""s generosity will never be forgotten as she often would send packages to the soldiers in Afghanistan. A Memorial service to be held in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. (at Hazel St.), on Friday, August 20th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Mental Health and Addiction Program would be appreciated by the family.
