HOAG, Kaarina (Niemi) - In loving memory of Kaarina Hoag (Niemi), 78 years of Capreol, January 19th, 2012 at H.S.N. Memorial Site. Beloved wife of 57 years of George Hoag. Loving mother of Rick (Kathy) of Capreol, Neil (Sheila) of Oakville and Brenda (Jim Trayner) of Capreol. Cherished Grandma/Mummu/Nanny of Laurie, Trevor, Mallory, Russell, Grant and Kirk. Dear sister of Karen Conron (Wayne predeceased) of Capreol and sister-in-law of Melinda Mott of Levack. Predeceased by parents Niilo and Laimi Niemi, brother Sulo and sister-in-law Dorothy Lahti (Francis). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and godchild Sandra Lahti. She was born in Sudbury and lived in Matchewan in her early years. Kaarina attended Trinity United Church and was a 55 year member of Vermillion Rebecca Lodge #289. She was active in Tai Chi, crocheting and swimming. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Special thank you to the wonderful staff on the 4th floor at the Memorial site. Memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church, Capreol on Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at 11 AM. Cremation with interment at the Capreol Cemetery.
