HOBBS, Brian John - June 26, 1947 - Aug. 13, 2012. Passed away peacefully in his 66th year at the Espanola Nursing Home with family by his side. Predeceased by his father Jack (John) Hobbs and mother Anne (Emery) Hobbs of Massey, Ont., also predeceased by his sister Carol Jane Wilson (Donald) of Espanola. Brian is survived by his sister Sharon Bois (Doug) of Espanola, his brothers Kevin Hobbs (Jewel) of Espanola, Christopher Hobbs of Toronto & Harold Hobbs of Sudbury. Brian is also survived by nieces Sarah Hobbs, Shawna Paradis (J.P.) Darcy Burke (Pat), Debbie Solomon (Eli), Paula Mitroff (Tyler), Barbara Bois, and nephews Christopher Hobbs, Philip Bois and many great nieces and nephews. Brian was the first person to graduate from Community Living Espanola. He also loved league bowling in his younger years and watching local hockey teams play at the arena. But most of all, Brian enjoyed family get togethers. Service will be held at Espanola United Church Friday August 17th, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to Community Living Espanola, Espanola Nursing Home Long Term Care or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by his family.
