It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Tim’s passing at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pre-deceased by his parents Allan and Doris Holmberg (nee Shrigley), Tim is survived by his brothers, Rick (Laurie), Brent (Kim), and Tom (Donna). He also leaves behind is nieces Courtney (Mike), Katie, Britney (Kevin), Brooke (Curt), Alysha (Matt), and Kaitlyn, great niece Shay and great nephew Darcy James. He leaves behind his beloved Aunts and Uncles and far too many awesome cousins to list.
Tim was a simple man, he lived his life by his own terms. He loved his rock music and could listen to it from morning to night, as loud as he could and always danced like nobody was watching. Tim loved his beer, loved to laugh, he collected all sorts of odd rock and sticks that caught his eye along his journeys, he loved riding his bike during the summer. Tim loved family get togethers (when we could get him there) but then was always the last to leave. He also enjoyed spending time with good friends and neighbours (Craig) having bonfires, beers and lots of laughs.
Tim overcame many obstacles in his life. He may have only left a small footprint on this earth but has left huge ones on our hearts. We love you Timmy and we will miss you. Rest easy Brother!
The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the doctors, nurses and PSW’s at Health Sciences North, 6 Floor, South Tower and the Daffodil Lodge for the excellent care they provided.
There will be no visitation or service, a private celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
