In loving memory of Diane Thérèse Huneault (née Gaudreault) who passed on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Richard Huneault. Loving mother of Nancy Morissette and Luc Huneault. Loving daughter of Wilfred Gaudreault and Rachelle Lessard (stepfather Philippe Lessard) all predeceased. Loving sister of Paul Gaudreault (wife Sue) and the late Jean Gaudreault. Loving half sister of Sylvie Lessard (predeceased) and dear aunt of Eric, Melanie, Joel, and Stephane.
Over the course of her long career as a sheriff officer, Diane touched many lives including those of her colleagues and friends at the courthouse who admired her professionalism and always cheerful disposition. Diane was passionate about animals, having owned horses and always having multiple pets within the home. She loved cottage life and used her green thumb to embellish her surroundings. Most of all, Diane dedicated her life to her family with unconditional love and nurturing.
Funeral visitation at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may gather from 2-4 & 6-8pm Friday, April 19th, 2024. Funeral Mass at Ste. Annes de Pins Church, 14 Beech Street, Sudbury on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 10am. Cremation and interment in the family plot at Lasalle Cemetery. Donations to St. Joseph’s Foundation (CC) would be appreciated.
