Bill passed away peacefully on March 15 at the age of 92.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny, and his children Dan, Eileen Young (Phil), Anita Kereluik, and Joseph (Tara) with whom he enjoyed much laughter.  He is the proud grandfather of Brenden (Vivian), Lauren (Ty), Matthew, Samantha (Cassidy), Steven, Kayleigh, Karl (Paula), Michael (Erica) and Aidan and great-grandfather of Jacob, Lydia and Elizabeth Keen. Bill was the brother of John (Huguette) both deceased, Bernie (Shirley), Ron (Sheila), Joan Moroz (Wally), Terry Nagy (Gerry).

Born in Ottawa, Bill met the love of his life, Jenny, in Flin Flon Manitoba where they were wed in October 1958 (65 years). He promised her father to take care of her since they were moving far from home.  He kept his promise in these most recent years by caring for Jenny through her progressing dementia in their home and then at Pioneer Manor.  Bill was devoted to Jenny & the family working many different jobs through the years from aerial surveying to construction to delivering newspapers and sandwiches.  One job found them in Mexico where Bill picked up a passion for spicy food and Mexican folk music. Bill's love of hockey lead to countless hours volunteering and coaching at the local playground when the family was young.  His love of reading everything from suspense to historical non-fiction battled for his free time jigsaw puzzling together with Jenny.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (Sudbury Chapter) would be greatly appreciated.
