JACOBS-OSKABOS, Michael - In loving memory of Michael Jacobs-Oskabos, 89 years, Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake. Beloved husband for 59 years of Arnelda (Meawasige) Jacobs-Oskabos of Cutler. Loving father of Jack (Caroline), Harvey, Janice (Harold), Gail (Joe), Grant, Brenda, Mick (Suzie), Robert (predeceased), Randy (Erica), Greg, and Barry. Sadly missed by his loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Dear son of Thomas and Madeline (Kidjawin) Jacobs both predeceased. Dear brother of Levina Parker, Leonard, and Teddy Jacobs all predeceased. Born in Sprague, Ontario he worked for many years at the Sawmill. Michael received the nickname “Bubble Gum Jacobs“ while pitching in the North Shore hard ball league. A man who celebrated life and whose focus was volunteering countless hours for his community. He leaves a rich legacy of love and many wonderful memories. Resting at the Serpent River Community Centre. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Highway Church, Cutler, ON.
