JALBERT, Hector Joseph - The Family sadly announces the passing of our cherished Hector Joseph Jalbert who was born on November 2, 1924 and passed away on February 18, 2011. Pre-deceased by his parents  Hubert & Zoe Jalbert. Pre-deceased by brothers Ernest, Placide, Edward & Aime, sisters Emma, Odile, Alexina and Marie Ann. Survived by his wife Pearl (Brouse) Jalbert and his children, Gilles (Carole), Roland (Valerie), Helen Bromley (Graham), Roger (Micheline), Robert (Debra), Colette Stephen (David) and Daniel (Kaija). Cherished grandfather of 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Hector worked for the Poupore Lumber Company for 50 years.  He was a long time resident of Skead, a member of the Skead Seniors Club and the Skead Community Centre and belonged to  St. Bernardine of Siena Parish until their recent move to Coniston in 2009. Hector loved his family get togethers and loved playing music. He belonged to the dart group in Coniston and  La Pavillion.  Hector will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist, Garson, Monday, February 21st., 2011 at 10:30am. Cremation with interment in the St. John's Cemetery, Garson. Donations to the Kidney  Foundation or Lung Association would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5pm; 7-9pm. Sunday).
