"It is with extreme sadness that I have to announce the passing of the love of my life Arnold William Jamieson at the age of 65 after a lengthy illness on December 16th, 2023.  He has left us way too soon, but he is at peace now.  He will be missed by a great many people, both family and friends.  He bettered the life of everyone one he touched with his smile and great personality, he was always helping or mentoring someone without a second thought."

He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Anita (Seguin) Jamieson.  He was the son of Anna (Loken) Jamieson and James Jamieson (both pre deceased), brother to Arlene Jamieson and Suzanne Rich (Greg), brother in law to Ray Seguin (Sheryl) and Odette Serran (Jack).  He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Julio Barrera (Heidi), Amanda and Jason Thompson, Samantha Rich, Jennifer Tasikas (Marc), Matthew Rich, Alison Seguin, Adrien Seguin (Renee), Amy and Andree Seguin, John Serran (Nathan), Jessica Dagg (Zach).  HIs cousins Johnny and Betty Loken with whom he was also very close.  Also, a multitude of great nieces and nephews as well as countless friends, coworkers and aquaintances will miss his quick wit and sunny disposition.  He was also a very much loved son in law to Lucien and Cecile Seguin (both pre deceased).

He loved his family above all, he liked to go fishing, spend time at camp, ride motorcycles, travel and a great many other adventures.  He would be the first to admit that he has been a great source of entertainment to all those who knew and loved him, most of it unintentional. Our world has lost a bright light and darkened just a bit.

Out of respect for his wishes there will be no service.  He wanted everyone to celebrate his life in their own way and to remember and laugh at all the good times.

Donations to his favorite charity Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury in his name are welcome.

Cremation by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
