JOHNSON, Ronald Albert - In Loving Memory of Ronald Albert Johnson, January 23rd, 1935 - October 30th, 2011, 76 years. Peacefully after a courageous journey with cancer and his treatments Sunday, October 30th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband for 43 years of Reta (Dunphy) of Sudbury, Ontario. Loving father of Ann of Guelph, Carrie of Coniston and Owen of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Alexandra, Mackayla and Lenae. Dear son of Bruce and Irene Johnson (Hall) both predeceased. Dear brother of Gordon (wife Doreen) of Dowling. Dear uncle to Susan of Espanola, Steven of Toronto, Stewart (wife Jenn) of Curtis. Born in Sudbury, Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. He graduated with his degree in Architecture from Ryerson. He retired from Inco with 39 years service. He was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. His artistry was impeccable and inspiring. He had a passion for Geology having an extensive rock collection. Memorial Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at 1 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.
