After a long adventurous life, Audrey Faye Johnston (Paul) passed away peacefully at 91 on November 1st 2021 at Pioneer Manor.
Among her numerous achievments, her greatest by far was her family.
Loving wife of Don Johnston (predeceased). Cherished mother of Brenda Houle (Gary) and Brian Johnston (Diane).
Greatest nan to Christopher House (Sheri), Robert Houle (Christine), Craig Johnston-Siu (Eric),
Justin Johnston (Jennifer). Great nan to Megan Rysdale, Teri-Lynn Houle (Corey), Gillian Houle,
Jayla Johnston, Remi Johnston-Siu, Jordyn Johnston and great great nan to Lilly Rysdale.
Adoring partner for 24 years to Joseph Zaitz (predeceased) and loved by all of his family.
Predeceased by her parents Joe and Gertrude Paul (Wright). Loving sister of Velma Graham (Norm/Len) predeceased,
Winnifred (Don) McNeil predeceased, Jean (Bill predeceased) Lahti,
Bill Paul (predeceased), Murray Paul predeceased (Marilyn), Judy Leore predeceased (John).
Nan will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Audrey in her younger years could be found around the barn with the horses, with her dogs, travelling,
skidooing, going to casinos or out dancing.
She was always the life of the party with a joke to tell.
The family would like to express a heart felt Thank you to all the staff at Pioneer Manor
for their compassionate and exceptional care.
Abiding with Audreys wishes, there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to Parklawn Crematorium
and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the SPCA or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
