JOLIE, Darlene Laura (Paquette) 1946 - 2012 - It is with profound sadness that the family of Darlene Jolie (nee Paquette) of Cobourg, Ontario announces her peaceful passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a courageous battle with cancer on the 20th of July, 2012. Born and raised in Coniston, she attended College Notre-Dame and graduated from the Elizabeth School of Nursing (Hopital St. Joseph) in Sudbury. Darlene is survived by her loving husband John of 37 years. Loving mother of Brad Jolie, Andrea Davis (Scott), Suzanne Jolie (John Reynard), Glenna Jolie (Michael Davidson) and adored nonna of Benjamin, Jeremy, James, Avery and Brynn. Cherished sister of Janice Paquette. Beloved daughter of Flora Paquette (nee Prenol) and the late Georges Paquette of Coniston and daugher-in-law of Joseph Jolie and the late Margaret Jolie. Will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her many nieces and nephews and her friends. She will always be fondly remembered for her compassion, caring and generous spirit. Darlene, we love you so much and miss you. Cremation with a memorial visitation was held on the 24th of July, 2012 at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Cobourg, ON.
