JOLY, Sylvio - In Loving Memory of Sylvio Joly 80 years Monday, January 9th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Isabelle (Lariviere) Joly of Sudbury. Loving father of Allain (Ginna) and Jeannine (Claude Portelance) both of Sudbury and Pierre (Johanna) of Espanola. Cherished grandfather of Brian (Lauren), Jean-Paul, Michel, Karri-Anne (Kari), Daniel, Jodie, Jocelyne, Conrad, Taylor, and great grandchildren Bradley, William, Braedyn, Tanner, Hayven, Zoe and Hailey. Dear son of Johnny and Valada Joly both predeceased. Dear brother of Stephane (Isabelle) of Sudbury, Marielle (Rene Dellaire predeceased) of Azilda, predeceased by Laurent, Blanche (Noel Gratton), Wilfrid, Noel, Eva (Wilfrid Dequanne), Gerard (Julia of Azilda) and Romo (Jeannette of Sudbury). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Markstay, he married Isabelle in Estaire in 1951. Sylvio was one of the founders of the Labourers International Union of North America, he served as a business manager for Local 1036 in Sault Ste Marie for 23 years, then he owned and operated Sylvio Joly Masonry until he retired. Sylvio was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed woodworking. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church 39 Walford Rd. Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 10am. Interment in the Chelmsford Cemetery. Prayers 7:30pm Wednesday. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Wednesday.)
