JUNCK, Frances Irene - In Loving Memory of Frances Irene Junck (nee Clark), 98 years, Tuesday, October 9th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Roy Junck predeceased 1962. Loving mother of Marlene (husband Keeling Little) and Norma (husband Tom Wilson). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (wife Helen), Craig (wife Lynn), Christopher, Tricia (husband Goncalo) and Melissa (husband Mark) and great grandchildren Jacob, Mirja, Aaron, Chase, Camryn, Alexander, Lucas, Jack and Beth. Dear daughter of Alex and Phoebe (Badger) Clark predeceased. Dear sister of Annie, Tom, Margaret, George, Ellen, Marie, Isla and Jean all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in James Bay Junction, Frances grew up in the Parry Sound area, marrying Roy Junck in 1940 and moving to Sudbury. She had worked at Consumer's Distributing and Cochrane's Hardware for many years, retiring in 1978. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, quilting and camping with family. A woman of faith, she attended St. Luke's United Church where she was a life member of the church's UCW. She was active in church events, Fellowship and ministries. She had been a volunteer with Telecare for many years and annually rang the Christmas bells for the Salvation Army. Frances lived the lessons of love taught by Jesus on a daily basis. She was a good shepherd and good Samaritan to all she met. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Friends may call 7-9pm Wednesday and after 12 noon Thursday. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Thursday, October 11th, 2012 at 1pm. Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Luke's United Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
