KACZKOWSKI, Doreen (Nee Jennings) - In loving memory of Doreen Kaczkowski (Nee Jennings). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother Doreen (nee Jennings) Kaczkowski on the evening of Monday, April 26th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84 Years. Beloved wife of Ted Kaczkowski. Loving mother of Tom (predeceased) Darlene (Michael Orazi) and Judy (Tony Guidoccio) both of Sudbury. Special grandmother to her five granddaughter (dollies as she loved to call them) Andrea, Krista, Christina, Deanna and Olivia. Daughter of William and Ellen Jennings (Hanlon) both predeceased. Dear sister of Moe (Carmen) predeceased, Patricia (Jim Koroscil) predeceased, Delmer (Rita) predeceased, Cecile (Nick Leuschen) and Mary (Alex Koroscil) of Sudbury. Doreen worked for many years at Kresges and Boni Mart Foods. She had a keen sense of humour and loved playing practical jokes on close friends and family. Even though she was not Ukrainian she learned how to make perogies like the pros. Her holiday meals will be fondly remembered by all. In her later years she enjoyed her time bolwing and was an avid card player. Doreen (Aunt Dot) as she was called will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful Doctor's and Nurses on the 5th floor of the Sudbury Regional Hospital for their compassionate care during her final days. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury, Friday, April 30th, 2010 at 10 A.M. (Friends may call at the Church after 9:30 A.M. Friday). Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
