KAIROVICIUS, Mecys (Petras Leleika) - In loving memory of Mecys Kairovicius, 86 years, who passed away peacefully Saturday morning August 7th, 2010. Beloved husband of Loraine (née Guindon) predeceased. Father of Edward (Carole), Monique and Robert. Grandpa to Danielle (Derrick), Petras, Francesca and Alexia. Loving companion to Colette. Born in Lithuania, he survived WWII and came to Canada where he worked over 35 years in the mining industry and built his new life and started his family. He was a generous and hard working man that loved to laugh. He was also known for his great stamina and endurance. There will be no new Mecys “stories“ but there are many old ones to re- tell that we can remember him by. The family will hold a private service for close friends and family at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated.
