KECK, Lyle Milton - In Loving Memory of Lyle Milton Keck 90 years Monday, February 27th, 2012 at the Pioneer Manor, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Fournier) Keck predeceased. Loving father of Dr. Jennifer Keck predeceased (son in law Don Kuyek) and Leslie Ann Keck of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Jordan Keck and David Kuyek, and extended family Devlin Kuyek (Alisha Piercy) and children Una and Fanon. Lyle worked for the Greater Sudbury Fire Department for 33 years, retiring in 1981 as the Director of Fire Prevention. He served overseas during World War II with the corps of fire fighters in London, England. Lyle was a member of Local 527 and served as District 6 Vice President for 10 years. He was a trustee with the Broder & Dill School Board as well as with the Sudbury Civic Employee Credit Union. He was a member of the Sudbury Curling Club, Lively Golf Club, Royal Canadian Legion Lockerby Branch and a former member of the Masonic Lodge. His greatest pride in life was always his grandchildren. Thanks to the staff at Pioneer Manor for their care and kindness. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury Friday, March 2nd, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Dr. Jennifer Keck Lecture Series, Laurentian University or the NCF Dr. Jennifer Keck Fund.
