It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Gloria Jean Kelly (nee Scarfone) on July 5, 2023, at the age of 84.
Gloria was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She was very active in the Catholic Church. Gloria is survived by her children David Kelly (Eileen Kotila) of Sudbury, Ontario and Cathy Kelly of Truro, Nova Scotia. Brother Carmen Scarfone (late Olga) and sister Linda Roy (late Ernie) of Sault Ste. Marie.
Grandmother to Christopher Kelly, Jeffrey Kelly of Sudbury, Ontario, Kayla Kelly of London, Ontario and Kyle Bent of Truro, Nova Scotia. Great Grandmother to Emily Kelly, Brayden Kelly, and Lennon Kelly of Sudbury. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Sault Ste. Marie.
She will be reunited with her mother Olga Lillian Scarfone and father Emilio (Mim) Scarfone of Sault Ste. Marie and two grandchildren Matthew and Brianna Bent.
The family would like to thank the Falconbridge Extendicare for looking after mom in her final days. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to do an act of kindness for someone in need. Respecting Gloria’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
