James Edsel Kennedy – James (Jim) Kennedy, 93, passed peacefully on October 31, 2022, going to his heavenly home to be where he has longed to be for many years. Jim was a farmer and wilderness guide in the French River region, when he was called into itinerant Christian ministry. He was a man of prayer who touched the lives of many in his journey through life and through his support for the development of Christian radio in Northeastern Ontario.

Jim’s family will receive visitors for two hours beginning at 11:00 AM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Following the visitation, a celebration service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at All Peoples Cemetery, Monetville. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured to receive donations in Jim’s memory to CJTK (Christ Jesus The King) Radio.
