Kirk, David “Dave”
It’s with great sadness that the family announces the passing of David “Dave” Kirk on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, just shy of his 80th birthday.
Loving father of Gordon (Debbra) Kirk and Delilah (Steve) Mimeault. Cherished Grampa of Jamie Lee Mimeault and Tyson Kirk. Only brother of Shirley, Verna, Violet (all predeceased), and June, Diane, Emma and Gayle. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
David was a proud and hard-working man, having just retired in September 2023. He was an avid tinkerer, never turning down a project that allowed him to showcase his carpentry talents. At David’s request, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place, with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff on Level 4 North at HSN for the care provided during the last 4 weeks. If you wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in David’s memory would be appreciated.
