KONCAN, Anton - In loving memory of Anton Koncan 92 years. Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Marie (Zibelnik) Koncan of Sudbury. Loving father of Tony predeceased (Lyle of Winnipeg), Alfonz (Susan) of Winnipeg, John (Sharon) of Huntsville, Mark (Norrie) of Edmonton and Henry (Laura) of Windsor. Cherished grandfather of Cindy, Nada, Frances, Tony, Michael, Steven, David, Christina, Katie and 4 great grandchildren. Dear son of Anton and Francisca Koncan both predeceased. Born in Slovania, he married Marie in Toronto in 1952. Anton worked as a miner for 32 years at INCO, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club, The Slovenian Society and the Holy Trinity Men's Club. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church 426 Burton Ave. Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Prayers at 7pm. Tuesday. Interment in Huntsville. Donations to Mass for Shut-Ins or Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
