Volodimir “Walter” Korolow of Harriston, and formerly of Chelmsford, passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in his 66th year. Son of the late Peter & Anna (Rebatschenko) Korolow. Brother of Anatol “Toly” & Bonnie Korolow of Kelowna, BC, and Ria & Joseph Bignucolo of Azilda. Cherished uncle of Tobias Korolow of Canmore, Tanya Korolow (Justin Fitzpatrick) of Niagara Falls, Todd Bignucolo (Jeannie) of Greater Sudbury, and Ryan Bignucolo (Christine) of Greater Sudbury.
Walter spent many years working at Bell Canada. His sense of adventure and knowledge of fiber optics led him to selling his hobby farm in Chelmsford and moving to The Philippines where he would work at upgrading their telephone system, until his eventual return to Canada. His generosity and love of music made him easy to befriend.
