KOSIOR, Katherine

November 19, 2012 89

KOSIOR, Katherine (Kit) Mary (nee Loschuk) - In loving memory of Kit Kosior, 89 years. Kit passed away peacefully November 14th, at Health Sciences North with loving family by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Frank Kosior and Maria Kosior (nee Mus). Kit is survived by her daughter Valerie Tudor (Jack), her son Joseph Kosior (Lu), and her grandchildren Craig Kosior, Jason Tudor and Christine Nicholson (Brent). She has also left behind her great grandchildren Keean and Connor Nicholson who stole a special spot in her heart and helped to keep her young. She is also survived by her sister Angie Ziola (Frank). She was predeceased by Valerian Kosior, her brothers Peter (lost in WWII), Felix, Joseph and Stan, and her sister Mel. She has left us here on earth but is with her mother, siblings and other family members now, she lost her mother and brother at a young age and was looking forward to seeing them again in a better place. Kit was a very strong, independent woman who touched the lives of every person whose path she crossed. Her spirit will live on through those who loved her and knew her well. When Kit wasn't taking care of somebody, she was playing cards and she played her hands well. It was through bridge where she developed most of the beautiful friendships she shared. She took in and took care of so many different people throughout her life, it is difficult to name them all, we are all better people because of her generosity. She was an avid bridge player, getting her 'Life Master' early on. As much as she enjoyed playing bridge, she enjoyed teaching it even more, another example of what a giving woman she was. Her heart always went out without judgment to anyone who suffered, mentally or physically and there was an extra special place in her heart for children and therefore we ask any donations be made to 'Big Brothers, Big Sisters' on her behalf. Close friends and family will gather at a private memorial to celebrate her life. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
