KOSKI, Manu Johannes - In loving memory of Manu Johannes Koski, 75 years, who passed away Thursday, September 17th, 2009 at his camp. Beloved husband of Anja (Hyyppa) Koski predeceased 1986. Loving father of Maire Lahti (husband Richard Stewart) of Sudbury and Raija (husband Glenn Bruce) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Karina and Taylor. Dear son of Jussi and Martta Koski both predeaceased. Dear brother of Antti (wife Eeva predeceased) of Finland. Dear uncle of Tarja, Kari, Jari, Paivi and Ari-Pekka. Special friend of Kaarina Hytti of Sudbury. Born in Kortesjarvi, Finland, he married Anja in 1960. Manu was a miner for 27 years at Falconbridge Nickel Mine. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Manu enjoyed fishing and spending time at his camp on Lake Panache. He was devoted to his family and a true friend to many. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., Monday, September 21st, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Parklawn Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
