KOZACHENKO, Viola (nee Kotinski) - On the afternoon of March 22nd, 2012 Viola Kozachenko in her 98th year passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family. Viola was born in Espanola and she was a Sudbury resident for over 70 years. She has left a large extended family including her three children Bernice (Joe Zanchetta), Olga (Kees Torenvliet) and Terry (Holly Anderson), her 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury, Saturday, April 7th, 2012 at 1 pm. Family and friends may gather after 12:45 pm Saturday April 7th, 2012. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff on the 4th Floor Palliative Care Unit at Health Sciences North for their excellent care and compassion.
