In loving memory of Ann (Annie) Kozak (nee Shelest), 84 years, Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Pioneer Manor, born December 6, 1938 in Sudbury, Ontario.

Ann passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters and granddaughters.  Predeceased by her husband of 61 years Bill (William).  Loving mother to Andrea (Ralph) and Marina (Rob).  She had 4 wonderful grandchildren and was Baba to Eric (Rachel), Christian (Korina), Kaitlyn and Hannah.  She was blessed to be able to recently meet her great grandson, Oliver.  Fondly remembered by her nephew Robert (Bobby) and godson Randy.  Ann was predeceased by her parents John and Barbara and by her sister Catherine.

Ann worked for INCO and retired from Sears after 25 years of service.  She spent her early retirement years volunteering for various organizations, notably Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, Our Children Our Future, as well as Sudbury’s annual Garlic and Blueberry Festivals.  Together with Bill she enjoyed gardening and spending time in her greenhouse.  Ann was an avid curler and enjoyed watching curling and all sports in her retirement years.  They loved entertaining and hosting friends and family and travelled together extensively.  She spent her final years at Pioneer Manor, being cared for in the Tulip wing.  Special thanks to the staff, especially her PSW Olga.
