KRISTIANSEN, Jan-Erik - In Loving Memory of Jan-Erik Kristiansen, 66 years. Passed away peacefully Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents Einar and Gerd Kristiansen and his brothers Steinar and Willy. He is survived by his sister Marilyn. Jan-Erik was born in Larvik, Norway and was only a small child when his family immigrated to Canada in 1948. He had a deep fondness for Norway and was able to visit in 1973. After growing up in Thunder Bay, he also lived for a number of years in Montreal and Vancouver, settling later in life in Sudbury, Ontario to be closer to family. Jan-Erik was a very gifted artist along with many other talents. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell jokes or funny stories. He will be sorely missed by his sister Marilyn (Roland), sister in law Eileen and all his nieces and nephews. In compliance with Jan-Erik's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
