It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alain Labrecque on Sunday April 24, 2022 at HSN at the age of 58 after a lengthy battle with cancer and with his wife at his side.
Predeceased by his parents Moise Labrecque and Anita Bernard. Loving husband and best friend of Anne Labrecque(nee Lavoie) of 30yrs.
Loving step father of Kris and Matthew (Christine ) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren. Dear brother of Annie Labrecque(Don) whom he adored. Alain also had a special spot in his heart for the Bernard family and many relatives from St-Alphonse, Quebec.
Alain was kind hearted and intelligent. He could make anyone laugh at any given time. Alain had the gift to gab, and he could strike up a conversation with anyone about any subject. He was a "Jack of all Trades" and he could fix or tweak everything. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
The family would like to thank the staff at the cancer centre and HSN for all their help and support through this difficult time.
There will be a Celebration of life at a later date.
