LACHANCE, Joan Diane - In Loving Memory of Joan Diane Lachance (nee McGillis), 67 years, who passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Loving mother of Christine Haas (husband Stephen) of Markham, Lana Watier (Husband Tom) of Lively, and Dale (fiancé Carmen) of B.C. Predeceased by husband Donald Lachance. Cherished grandmother of Alex Watier, Lana and Matthew Haas. Dear daughter of George (predeceased) and Gladys (nee Gettle) of Regina, Saskatchewan. Dear sister of Linda Haigh (Chris), Alan (Terry), and Bob (Vera). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Larry Thorpe. Joan has left us to soon but will be in our hearts forever, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. Joan was an avid golfer. She will be remembered for her sense of style and her outgoing personality, which she shared with everyone she met. Memorial visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Funeral Chapel, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10 am. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. (Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, and after 9am Friday).
