LACHANCE, Vincent Wilfred - It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Vincent Wilfred Lachance on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at the age of 75 in the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre with his family at his side. Loving husband of Dot Lachance (nee Proctor). Father to Deb Sokoloski (Jerry), Cindy Zerko, son-in-law George Zerko, Tammy Williams (Ross) all of Espanola, Sandra Huard (Pat) of Kemptville, Ontario. Son of Wilfred and Nellie Lachance (nee Laframboise), brother of David Lachance, all predeceased. Brother to Marilyn Brown (Bill) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Grampa to Adam Zerko, Mindy Zerko, Tanya-Lee Williams, Miranda Sokoloski, Robyn Williams and Alex Huard. Great-grampa Gigi to Cameron Camillo. In the early years Vince loved to camp on Manitoulin Island and in later years fishing with Dot and his dog, Pal, on Raven Lake. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Espanola Hospital Foundation for a feeding tube machine. As per Vince's wishes no visitation or service will be held.
