LAFLEUR, Laurette (née Côté). The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Étienne and the late Cécile (née Roy) Côté. Wife of the late Émile Lafleur, predeceased in 1993. Loving mother of Claire Blake (Larry), Colette Langille (Ken)(late Don Gagné), Carmen Poirier and Norman Lafleur (Brenda) all of Sudbury, Aline Easton (Ron) of Hanmer, Robert Lafleur (Françoise), Louise Lafleur (Kae Roberts) both of Ottawa, Paul Lafleur (Patricia) of Florida and Richard Lafleur (Kathy Larson) of Winnipeg. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 22 grandchildren and by her 38 great-grandchildren and by one great-great-grandchild. Dear sister of Roland (Pauline) of Ottawa and Berthe Therrien (late Ray) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Aimé (late Gertrude), Jeanne Lavallée (late Alphonse), Hervé (late Jeanne), Irène Barnes (late Don), Antoinette Bélanger (late Benoit), Thérèse Denis (Alex) and Aline Normandeau (Rodolphe of Val Caron). Laurette was an active member of the “Club d’Age d’Or” of Hanmer, the “Club Amicale” of Sudbury and many other senior groups. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St. Joseph Street, Hanmer on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 :30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
