LAFOND, Roch - The family announces with sorrow his passing on Monday, May 9th, 2011 at the age of 44 years. Beloved son of Gertrude Lafond (Edouard Lafond) and Renée Lafond (Cathie Lovelace). Dear brother of Gisèle Lafond (Don St-Onge), Luc Lafond (Liz Cusson) and Amy Lovelace (Brad Fuller) of Kingston. Special uncle to Mathieu Lafond and Kaden Lafond. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, friends and godchildren. Roch enjoyed hunting, fishing and a good auction. He will always be remembered as a generous man, dedicated to his family, friends and dogs. A Celebration of Roch's life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 4:00 p.m. at the Cache Bay Hall. At Roch's request, there will be no funeral service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
