LAHAIE, Gabriel - Passed away at Meaford General Hospital, Sunday, October 30, 2011. Gabriel Lahaie beloved husband of Karen (nee Libbey) in his 65th year. Dearly loved father of Andrew of Rutherglen, Anne Smith (Nathan) of Copper Cliff and Adrienne Buongiorno (Dominic) of Bonfield. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren Hailey, Hannah, Sarah-Jane, Ian and Gabriella. Dear brother of Jacqueline (Yvon), Fernande (Guy), Gaetan (Huguette), Jed (France) and Jane (Ted). Predeceased by his parents Leontine and Eudore Lahaie his sisters Marguerite, Rita, Louise and brothers Bernard and Louis. Gabriel was an underground miner for 37 years at Inco. Family receiving friends at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, Sudbury, Wednesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, North Bay 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Eau Claire Missionary Church, Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Calvin Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the V.O.N. Adult Day Centre, Sudbury would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
