In loving memory of Karl George Lahti, 74 years. It is with broken hearts we announce his passing at his home on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023.
Beloved husband of 51 beautiful years to Isobel Lahti (nee. Durand). Loving father of Roy Lahti, David Lahti (Alison) and Kyla Hogan (Robert). Loving Poppa of Alexandra, Ricki, Braedan, Haili, Tyler, Brooke, Faith, Samantha and Ashley (his little buddy Ewalk). Great-Poppa of Kingston, Késhaun, Zendaya, Nolan, Olivia, Christopher, Ella and Walker (predeceased). Predeceased by his parents Samuel Sr. And Helmi. Cherished brother predeceased by Elsie, Francis and Ron, survived by Samuel Jr., Miriam, Margaret and Don. Karl will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, also his good friend Mike.
The family would like to thank the many Nurses of Bayshore, Psw’s of Canadian Shield and Sudbury Hospice/Palliative team. There will be no funeral service at this time, the family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice and/or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
