LALONDE, Armand Michel - In Loving Memory of Armand Michel Lalonde 60 years who passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 at the Health Sciences North, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Pauline Lalonde (née Clément) of St. Charles. Loving uncle to the niece he loved and raised as his own Joanne (Mark) Violette of St. Charles. Special Dad to Pauline (Daniel Reinhart), Paul (Gisele) Lalonde, Roland (Gisele) Lalonde all of Wahnapitae, Lorraine (Bryan) Connors of Lively and Lise Forget of Sudbury. Cherished Pépère Armand to Corey Violette, Maxine Violette (Yves Laframboise), Guy Lalonde, Daniel Reinhart, Mike Lalonde, Sherry Lalonde (Steven DeCourcey), Julie Lamothe predeceased, Lynn Girard (Martin), Amanda Netzel (Schuyler), Henri Lamothe and Lee Forget and great grandchildren Mathew, Dale, Destiny, Jordan, Kirra, Curtis, Westin, Jacob and Alexine. Dear son of Lionel and Alice (née Champagne) both predeceased. Dear brother of Yvette Dupuis (Late Valmor) of St. Charles, Leopold Lalonde predeceased, Denise Séguin (late Réjean) of Noëlville, Yvon Lalonde (Lorrainza) of Garson, Sylvio Lalonde (Brenda) of Sturgeon Falls and Etoila Leclair (Raymond) of St. Charles. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by friend Miss Daisy and Chichou predeceased. Armand was involved in many community organizations among them, as a volunteer firefighter, playing Santa Claus in St Charles Christmas parades and as Bonhomme Carnaval just to name a few. He was a member of the Chevaliers de Colomb 3rd degree former council 11489 St. Charles, of the Wild Turkey Preservation, Rod and Gun Club. He worked diligently at many fundraising activities one of which as a painter, his acrylic paintings and stories were featured in 3 consecutive calendars for the Brain Injury Association. Armand was also an avid outdoorsman and spending time at his camp in Guérin Québec with Pauline and family was his greatest joy. Armand was a good, generous, kind man who loved his family and his friends. He enjoyed having people around him and get-togethers. His light will continue to shine and guide all those who knew and loved him. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday).
