LALONDE, Yvon “Ivan“ Remi - In Loving Memory of Yvon “Ivan“ Remi Lalonde 68 years who passed away peacefully at his residence, Saturday February 23rd 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marianne (born Charron) Lalonde of Garson. Loving father of Robert (wife Manon Simard) of Lindsey, Aline Lalonde (husband André Chevrier) of Ottawa and Carole Lalonde (husband André Brisson) of Elmira. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Pamela, Wesley and Brianna. Dear brother of Marcel Lalonde (wife Emilienne) of Val Caron, Gabrielle (husband Hubert Roy) of Coniston and Réjeanne Lalonde of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Louis Émile and Clara (born Dignard) Lalonde- Brunet and sister Georgette Carrière. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Yvon worked as a trucker most of his life. He was a jack of all trades and helped anyone who was in need of his many abilities. He loved carpentry and enjoyed working with his hands. Yvon was very creative and artistic making homemade model airplanes, boats and wind chimes. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Yvon had a positive outlook on life, he was strong and determined despite his many difficult health challenges. A very special “thank-you“ to Jennifer from Bayshore who was caring and compassionate throughout Yvon's illness. At his request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
