In Loving Memory of Alice “Rita” (Lalonde) Lamirante, 79 years, who passed Tuesday, June 29th, 2023, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Beloved wife of Rene Lamirante predeceased 2006. Loving mother of Claudette (Gary Raymond), Pauline, and Michael. Cherished grandmother of Chealsey, Natalia, and Tanner. Dear sister of Raymond (Jeanette), Theresa, and Marie. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law, and her dog Milo.
It was once said, "Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another".
With such a significant and heartbreaking loss, there's comfort in knowing your fun-loving energy still surrounds us, even though your physical self is no longer with us.
Thursday June 29th world lost one of the sweetest, most fun-loving people to ever live. If you knew her, you'd know she was one of the most easy-going and sincere individuals, but she did not take shit from anyone! She, and her bright red hair, graced so many lives; from her many years working at the Markstay Tavern or enjoying a beer at the Bullshit Table with the rest of the town. It was always a great time with her around. And if you ever wondered where that loud country music was coming from across the tracks all summer long, you better believe it was blasting from her stereo.
Her loss will be felt by many. May she rest in peace.
