LAMOUREUX, Marie-Ange (née Cardinal) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, after a courageous battle with cancer, Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Déocité and of the late Rose-Anna (née Desgagné) Cardinal. Wife of the late Aimé Lamoureux. Loving mother of Rémi (Phyllis), Aldé (Colette) both of St- Charles, Irène Rivet (Robert), Suzanne Lamoureux (friend Pat) both of Sudbury, Lise Bennett (Irwin) of Hanmer and Lorraine Lafortune (Gary) of Calgary. Predeceased by her son Daniel (Rachelle Lamoureux of Sudbury). Predeceased by her brothers Edgar, Henri, Louis, Léonard, Edmond and her sisters Blanche, Alice and Rose. Sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for the kindness and compassion shown towards Marie-Ange. Mrs. Lamoureux was a founding member of the “Domaine des Pionniers“ as well as a member of the “U.C.F.O.“ and of the “Club Alidor“ of St-Charles. The family will receive relatives and friends at the St-Charles Community Hall Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. in St-Charles Borromée Church, St- Charles. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
