LANDRY, Edgar Edwin - In Loving Memory of Edgar Edwin Landry, 69 years, Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of 45 years to Maureena (née Durocher) Landry of Sudbury. Loving father of Nicole Soucy (Norm), Lisa Raaska (Rodney), and Cory Landry (Corissa). Cherished grandfather of Mika, Brandon, Kasa, Tyanna and Ethan. Dear son of Cedric Sr. and Rose (née Larcher) Landry both predeceased. Dear brother of Cedric Jr. (Jean) and predeceased by Rebecca, Laura, Joan and many others. Dear son-in-law of Germaine Durocher of Sudbury and Richard Durocher predeceased. Born and raised in Sudbury, Edgar married Maureena in Skead in 1967. He worked for Falconbridge Ltd. for 32 years, retiring in 1998. A member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Edgar was very involved with the church in his younger years. He enjoyed sports and shoveling snow was a particular passion of his. His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Tuesday, July 31st, 2012, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, with parish prayers at 2:30pm. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at 10am. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Garson.
