Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Freida was born August 18th, 1932 in Ansonville. She bowled with her mother and sisters in Timmins while captivating the cup for several years consecutively. Freida worked hard to support her family and proudly worked as a waitress for many years and for a time as a legal secretary in Sault Ste Marie. She enjoyed singing, be it opera or country and she could yodel with the best of them. She was a fantastic cook and later in life delved into arts and crafts. At various times in her life she was president of social groups such as the Minus One Club in Kenora and later the Towers Residents' Association, Sudbury. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. McKibbon, the Memorial Site nursing staff who attended to our mother's care over the years and to the staff at Maison Vale Hospice.
