LANDRY, Joseph John - of McKerrow passed away at the Espanola Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 14th, 2013 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Delores (nee Landriault) of McKerrow. Dear son of the late William & Rose (nee Domouchel) Landry. Loving father of Jeannette Madore (husband Raymond) of Brampton, James (wife Nicole predeceased) of Espanola, Greg (wife Paula) of McKerrow & the late Paulette (husband Bill Dickson) of Truro, Nova Scotia. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Sean, Kyle, Denise, Jason, Cary, Rodney, Tania & Kendell & great- grandchildren, Jesso, Caytlin, Emily, Brooke & Dawn. Very dear brother of Patsy, Carmelle, Theresa, Edward & the late Henriette, Lawrence & Donat. John worked at the Espanola Mill for 43 years. He was an avid fisherman especially with his children & grandchildren, enjoyed camping trips and was a great hunter & story teller. His grandchildren & great-grandchildren's eyes would “light“ up when he was telling them his great tales. Oh pépère, they would say. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed. A Memorial Prayer Service will be held at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola on Friday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Gary Macpherson officiating. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, Memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Espanola Hospital Foundation.
