LANDRY, Violette - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, June 7, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Zenon Desforges and Irene Dubois. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Landry and loving mother of Richard (wife Cindy). Predeceased by her daughters Nicole and Vicki. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nathan (Stephanie), Natasha (Tyler), Nicolas (Amber), Christina, Cory, Andrew and Michael. Dear sister of Doris and Al Shire, Lina and Lionel Leduc, Alda and Eddy Frappier, Leane and Larry Michaud, Suzanne and Ray Bomhower, Simone Crawford, Norm and Roberta Desforges, Eddy Desforges, Michael and Debbie Desforges, Guy and Wendy Desforges. Dear sister-in-law of Pauline (late Raymond) Landry and Aline (late Bill) Kopp. Violette will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R.R 15, Chelmsford on Sunday, June 12, from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto would be greatly be appreciated.
