LANKTREE, Arden Matthew - of Espanola passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home, Espanola on Sunday, August 22rd, 2010 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Eunice (nee Springer) Lanktree. Dear son of the late John & Mary (nee Kay) Lanktree. Loving father of Shirley Cook (husband Bill) of London, Ontario, Doreen Tessier (husband Len) of Sudbury & the late Connie Cunningham (husband John) of London, Ontario & stepfather to Frank Springer (wife Janet) of Naughton, Janet Berkley of Ottawa & Eldon Springer of Timmins. Will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild & predeceased by 1 granddaughter. Very dear brother of Nora Hall of Mindemoya, Thelma White of Manitowaning & the late Harry, Ivan, Doug Lanktree & Isabelle McCulloch. Special friend to Mark & Jackie Ardiel of McKerrow. Friends may call at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola on Monday, August 23rd from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from the United Church of Espanola on Tuesday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Lyn Heeley officiating. Interment in the Espanola Cemetery. If so desired memorial tributes may be made to the United Church of Espanola Memorial Fund.
