LAPOINTE, Jean Jacques - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, October 2, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Florence (née Gervais) Lapointe-Tessier. Son of the late Ovila Lapointe and the late Marguerite Lapointe (née Bureau). Loving father of Gilles Tessier (Suzanne) and Louise Lapointe (Robert Highwarren) both of Val Caron, Rejean Lapointe (Nancy) of Hanmer and Marcel Lapointe of Blezard Valley. Dear brother Lucette Fortier of Timmins and Therese Lalonde of Sudbury. Predeceased by his siblings Cecile Chenier, Fernand Lapointe, Guy Lapointe and Agathe Lapointe. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Marc, Justin, Eric, Natalie, Alain, Julia and his great grandchildren Kamron, Emma and Payton, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Monday, October 8, 2012 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Ste Marguerite d'Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
