LAPOINTE, Louise (née St Amand) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Monday, November 14, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Daughter of the late Desiré and the late Berthe (née Labonté) St Amand. Beloved mother of Luc Lapointe (Colette) of Val Caron and Julie Lapointe (Jesse Brunet) of Millet, AB. Predeceased by her daughter Anne. Dear sister of Richard St Amand, Michel St Amand and Robert St Amand all of Thunder Bay and Jacques St Amand (Mariette) of Sudbury, Monique Quesnel (Hector) and Rachelle St Amand (Dennis Chevrier) both of Hanmer. Sadly missed by her lifelong best friend Paulette Guerin of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother Maurice (Pierrette) and her sisters Janine Pitre (Marcel) and Nicole St Amand. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended families, relatives and friends. Louise was always fun to be around. She was an endearing friend, loving mother and will be greatly missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday, November 17th, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Infant Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
