LaPRAIRIE, “Vicki“ Victoria (nee Kolbuck) - In loving memory of “Vicki“ Victoria (nee Kolbuck) LaPrairie, 87 years, peacefully after a brief illness Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Omer LaPrairie predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Richard (wife Susie), Sandra (husband Robert Chezzi), Donna (husband Marc Gaudette) and Brian. Cherished grandmother of Julie, David, Kim (Kerry), Natalie (Derek), Bryna-Lee (John), Dexter (Helene), Brook-Lynn, Megean and predeceased by Shelby-Lynn. Dear great grandmother to Riley, Nicholas, Kiersten and Peyton. Dear daughter of Joseph and Julia Kolbuck predeceased. Dear sister of Josephine Perchalski and predeceased by Steven, Frank, Rose, Jean and Mary. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A longtime and well remembered Coniston resident Vicki attended St. Paul the Apostle Church and belonged to the parish CWL. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards and going to the Casino. She was an avid Montreal Canadians Hockey Fan and enjoyed watching a good hockey game on the television. She was an excellent cook especially her legendary perogies and cabbage rolls and she was happiest hosting and serving family dinners and celebrations. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Friday, April 12, 2013 at 7 p.m. Interment in the family plot at the St. John's Cemetery, Garson.
